Thank you for reaching out to us and expressing your concerns regarding the recent changes to our Kempinski App booking promotion.
Kempinski Hotels is committed to providing exceptional experiences and value to our guests worldwide. With the recent launch of our enhanced Kempinski app and the associated promotion offering an additional 100 DISCOVERY Dollars (D$) for Kempinski app bookings, we have witnessed an overwhelming response, particularly from our esteemed guests in China.
Due to this unprecedented demand, we have revised the terms of our promotion for Kempinski hotel properties in China. Effective from 15 December 2023, the promotion will not apply to bookings made for Kempinski hotel properties in China until the end of the promotional period on 24 December 2023. This decision was made to ensure the sustainability of the offer and to maintain the high standard of service and accommodation that Kempinski is known for.
Our Chinese guests are valued members of the Kempinski community, and this adjustment does not exclude them from participating in the promotion – it remains available for app bookings at Kempinski Hotel properties outside of China.
We understand that this change might be disappointing, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. However, we believe this step is necessary to ensure the fairness and availability of our promotional offers to all our guests globally, irrespective of their location.
